Finprove could not have been launched more successfully: we presented our business model for the first time to a large audience at “Handelsblatt Annual Conference Retail Banking” on February 17, 2017, and won the FinTech Pitch with 57% of audience votes!

Fitting the event’s motto “Into the unknown. Solutions for the retail banking of tomorrow”, we presented a simple and innovative way to the banks, showing them how they can earn money with their online banking. A win-win situation for both the financial institute and the customer. By using Finprove, customers can optimize their monthly expenses easily and banks receive a commission for every supplier switch – without additional effort. The change agent only needs to be activated in the bank’s own online banking because Finprove undertakes analyzing customer data and coordinating suppliers.

Today, all banks have an enormous treasure chest of customer data, but they hardly use it as the basis for new earnings potential. In order for their brands to stay relevant, banks have to offer their customers real added value, going beyond just banking services.
